It has to open reliably under load, lock in position and seal at sea. Cranes and launch and recovery systems on the same deck have to lift safely in a seaway and fit the available space. We design the structure, the drive, the locking and the controls together, and take the system through class approval. Our approach ## Structure, drive and control as one design - **Structural design and analysis** of the closure or crane and its interface with the hull. - **Drive selection:** hydraulic, electro-hydraulic or fully electric. - **Locking and sealing** so the closure holds in position and is weathertight or watertight when closed. - **Control:** local or remote operation. - **Class approval** with Türk Loydu, Lloyd's Register, RINA or any other society. FAQ ## Naval hatches, doors and cranes: common questions ### Which naval closures and handling systems do you build? Watertight hatches, shell doors and side doors, marine crane systems, and boat and tender launch and recovery systems for navy and commercial vessels. ### Which drives are available? Hydraulic, electro-hydraulic or fully electric drives, with local or remote control. ### Do you handle class approval? Yes. We work with Türk Loydu, Lloyd's Register, RINA or any other classification society the vessel is built to; our naval ramp systems for the Turkish Navy were certified by Türk Loydu. ### What crane capacities do you offer? Marine cranes up to 20 t with an outreach of up to 5 m as standard. Higher capacities and longer outreach are designed to customer requirements. ### Watertight or weathertight? Either, according to the requirement of the opening and the vessel. ### Can you work to an existing hull opening or deck structure? Yes. Retrofit work starts from the existing structure; on a 32 m motor yacht we added a beach club shell door and a balcony by cutting the hull together with the builder.
