Helideck, vertiport and drone systems
Design, analysis, certification and outfitting of helidecks, VTOL vertiports and drone landing platforms to ICAO Annex 14 and CAP 437, and the ground support equipment that operates on them.
A landing area is only as good as its approval
A helideck, vertiport or drone platform has to carry the aircraft, keep obstacles clear, provide lighting, fueling and fire-fighting, and pass approval by the authority before the first landing. Structure, outfitting and certification are often handled by different suppliers, and the gaps appear at approval stage.
We take the landing area as one project: design and analysis, outfitting and the certification file, followed by the ground support equipment needed to operate the aircraft.
Design, certification and outfitting in one scope
- Applications: military, offshore and yacht helidecks; VTOL vertiports; drone landing platforms.
- Rules: CAP 437, ICAO Annex 14, SHGM, EASA, Turkish Navy standards and NAVAIR; certification managed for the client.
- Size: landing areas up to D-value 21 m (Sikorsky S-92 class).
- Outfitting: lighting, fueling, fire-fighting and safety equipment, supplied and integrated by YTEK.
- Helicopter GSE: GPU, 270 V DC starter power supply, skid wheels, chocks, grounding and rescue sets.
- Drone and VTOL GSE: launch and recovery stands, dollies, charging and power carts.

Helidecks, vertiports and drone platforms: common questions
Which helidecks do you design?
Navy, offshore, rooftop and yacht helidecks. We cover design, structural analysis, certification and outfitting, including lighting, fueling, fire-fighting and safety equipment.
Which rules do you design helidecks and vertiports to?
CAP 437, ICAO Annex 14, SHGM, EASA, Turkish Navy standards and NAVAIR, according to the project. We manage the certification process for the client.
How large a helideck can you design?
Up to a D-value of 21 m, the size required by the Sikorsky S-92 class.
Which helideck projects have you carried out?
Navy helideck projects, a rooftop helideck project and yacht helideck projects. Client names are not published.
Do you supply the outfitting equipment yourselves?
Yes. We supply the complete outfitting package and integrate the equipment from our supplier network, so the client has one contract for the landing area.
Do you design vertiports and drone landing platforms?
Yes. VTOL vertiports and drone landing platforms are designed with the same process as helidecks: design, analysis, certification and outfitting.
Which helicopter ground support equipment do you supply?
GPU, 270 V DC starter power supply and 28 V DC / 115/200 V AC 400 Hz converters with 100–1,200 A output to requirement, skid transfer wheels (NSN 1730-27-071-7963), wheel chock NWC-4 (NSN 1730-27-071-7962), grounding and handling equipment, and crash/rescue and fire rescue sets.
What do you offer for drone and VTOL operators?
Launch and recovery stands, handling and transport dollies, and charging and power carts, alongside landing platform design and MRO support.
Yacht systems
Balconies, beach clubs, garage doors, passerelles and composite design.
Drone & VTOL solutions
GSE, vertiport design, MRO support and consultancy.
