Yacht systems
Balconies, beach clubs, hull and tender garage doors, passerelles and deck cranes: moving parts that open the yacht to the water and close flush when under way.

Large openings, little space, no room for failure
A balcony or beach club turns a closed hull into living space at the water. The system has to fit inside a tight installation envelope, carry people safely, lock firmly in every position, close flush and stay watertight at sea.
Builders also need a supplier who can work on an existing hull, coordinate with the yard and the class society, and deliver on the build schedule.
Structure, drive and finish designed together
- Drive choice: hydraulic, electro-hydraulic or fully electric, with local or remote control.
- Locking: hydraulic locks and mechanical locks so the platform holds in position.
- Materials: aluminium and lightweight composite structures, stainless steel locks.
- Emergency operation: manual or DC back-up so the system can always be closed.
- Yard coordination and aftercare: new builds and retrofits under class, with maintenance agreements after delivery.

Yacht systems: common questions
Which yacht systems do you design and build?
Hydraulic and electric balconies and fold-out bulwark terraces, aft beach club and swim platforms, hull and tender garage doors, passerelles, boarding, access and swim ladders, deck cranes and lifting platforms, and custom composite structures.
Hydraulic or electric?
Both, and electro-hydraulic. Each system can be built with hydraulic, electro-hydraulic or fully electric drives, with local or remote control.
Can a balcony or beach club be added to an existing yacht?
Yes. On a 32 m motor yacht we added a beach club shell door and a master-cabin balcony by cutting the starboard hull together with the builder, under RINA class.
Do you build in composite?
Yes. We design lightweight composite structures, covers and components; our fold-out balcony for a 24 m catamaran is a 2 × 2 m composite platform.
Do you offer maintenance after delivery?
Yes. We offer maintenance agreements for yacht systems, with periodic service visits, oil and seal changes and spare parts.
What happens if hydraulic power is lost?
Emergency operation is part of the design. On the 32 m motor yacht, a hand valve and a DC motor allow both systems to be operated without the main power unit.
